Summary: Réfléchir le monde’s various artists’ impressions on the contemporary world and its ambivalence are critical, yet never disillusioned.  All of the works comprise the artists’ own subjectivity, individual emotion and personal history, and this is characterised by the plethora of techniques and media used, including photography, video and installations.These artists belong to a generation which has become aware of the leading role that image plays in the contemporary world. Despite having very singular approaches and a multitude of viewpoints, they all question the process undertaken to prepare their images, the status of these images and where they fit into our saturated visual landscape.
