People with specific needs

Centrale provides a number of services to help visitors get around and access the exhibitions.

Most of Centrale’s exhibition spaces are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Only the very last exhibition space is not accessible. You can only reach this via a staircase of 5 steps, with a metal handrail on each side.

Accessibility :

-Access to the exhibitions from the main entrance is via a staircase with 6 steps. These steps have three metal handrails: two at the ends and one in the middle.

– 1 ground-level entrance for people with reduced mobility, with appropriate signage and a direct access to cloakroom lockers. Please present yourself to reception at Place Sainte-Catherine 45 to inform our staff of your arrival. You can then go to the covered ground-level entrance at Place Sainte-Catherine 44. This second entrance is 60 meters separated from the first and is accessible from outside.

Facilities :

– 1 folding wheelchair type Able2 on borrow at reception.
– Adapted sanitary facilities are located immediately on the left upon arrival in the intermediate space to the different toilets.
Toilet doors are 80 centimeters wide and open inwards. The space between the wall (or toilet bowl) and the door is 15 centimeters.
– A changing table is located in the intermediate space to the different toilets, which is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
