Emilien Simon ’s exhibition (born in Dinant in 1990, lives and works in Brussels) Forests and skies (16.12.2020 > 21.02.2021) evolves around an installation that questions the iconography of landscape through the different phenomena that make it up.
On a television screen, a black sun seems to subtract its colorimetric variations from the sky. These are gradually converted into sound ramifications.
The installation is conceived as a sensory and evolutionary device going beyond the classical restrictions of interacting mediums.
Thus, a relationship of form and substance is established between the range of objects exhibited and what they produce.
