Workshop with artist Maud Gourdon

In the context of the exhibition Cataplasme !
The artist proposes to show the different stages of fabrication of her sculptures, which she creates with engraved wooden molds and the ingredients of the cataplasm; a plaster based on green clay and vegetable fibers used to relieve the small aches and pains of everyday life.
To create these sculptures, Maud Gourdon is inspired by the methods of ceramics (stamping) and engraving (xylogravure) but also by the technique of “paper clay” resulting from manual work.
During this workshop, the public will participate in the creation of a collective work guided by the artist’s expert hands.
