We have been told, and we shall tell you time and again: “Great figures of Heresy throughout history including Caravaggio, William Burroughs, José Mujica, the Marquis de Sade or Johnny Rotten, were the original source of inspiration for the project led by Anne-James Chaton & Andy Moor, who approach this theme through portraits combining text and music. In this collaborative piece, writing, vocals, guitars, electronics are all broached for an extraordinary exploration around the thematic of heresy. The visions of both artists overlap on a background of sometimes melodic and sometimes loud guitars and narrated lyrics. Chaton’s contrasting voice and words echo Moor’s electrifying chords”.

One cannot help but be won over by the voice of sound poet and writer Anne-James Chaton and the electric beats of Andy Moor (best known as the guitarist of Dutch punk band The Ex for thirty years).

A concert of strings with the vocal chords of Anne-James Chaton and the guitar scales of Andy Moor, united for an electrifying sonic lyricism.
