Bernard Boccara vit et travaille à Bruxelles depuis 1985 entre photos d’architecture et portraits. Venu du dessin auprès d’une grand-mère peintre à Casablanca et après un séjour à Paris où il étudia le cinéma, il en a gardé un goût du décryptage sociologique dans la lignée de la photo humaniste. Un jeu avec les apparences ou la réalité et la fiction ne sont jamais tout à fait là où on devrait s’y attendre.
