{"id":19221,"date":"2022-03-11T08:39:57","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T08:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centrale.brussels\/?post_type=activities&#038;p=19221"},"modified":"2022-11-08T11:26:46","modified_gmt":"2022-11-08T11:26:46","slug":"call-for-projects-centrale-vitrine-2","status":"publish","type":"activities","link":"https:\/\/centrale.brussels\/en\/events\/call-for-projects-centrale-vitrine-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for projects CENTRALE | vitrine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CALL FOR PROJECTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The City of Brussels and CENTRALE support emerging artists and their projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In September 2021, CENTRALE launched CENTRALE | vitrine, a new space dedicated to Brussels\u2019 emerging talents on the basis of an open call for projects. <\/strong>Artists living in the capital will respond by proposing an IN SITU project for the vitrine of CENTRALE, taking into account the urban environment, the street (Rue Sainte-Catherine is very busy and pedestrian), the neighborhood, the inhabitants, passers-by, walkers who may or may not be sensitive to contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p>The vitrine hyphenates the indoors and the outdoors, the art center and the public space, art and daily life.<\/p>\n<p>In short:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What<\/strong>? Open call for CENTRALE | vitrine IN SITU<\/li>\n<li><strong>Who<\/strong>? Emerging artists, with no age limit. Artists based (with official residency) in Brussels, including collectives or duos artist-curator<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where<\/strong>? 13 rue Sainte-Catherine &#8211; 1000 Brussels<\/li>\n<li><strong>When<\/strong>? Year 2023, launch of the next project 20.01.2023<\/li>\n<li><strong>How<\/strong>? Selection of 4 laureates by a jury \u00a0of art professionals<\/li>\n<li><strong>Timing\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline for submissions: Monday 02.05.2022 at 23:59<\/li>\n<li>Jury: 14.10.2022<\/li>\n<li>Project 1: 20.01.2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centrale.brussels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1-PLAN-VITRINE-CENTRALE1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plan CENTRALE | vitrine<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SUPPORT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CENTRALE offers:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 The space<br \/>\n\u2013 Exhibition during +- 8 weeks<br \/>\n\u2013 Financial support for the exhibition: 1.500 EUR fee +1000 EUR production costs<br \/>\n\u2013 Promoting the exhibition within CENTRALE&#8217;s general communication<br \/>\n\u2013 Support with the installation<br \/>\n\u2013 Professional photographic coverage<br \/>\n\u2013 Organisation of the opening and the distribution of electronic invitations<\/p>\n<p><strong>CRITERIA <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No age limit to participate<br \/>\nBased in Brussels<br \/>\nSubmission exclusively trough <strong>a single pdf (10Mo)<\/strong><br \/>\n1.
